Go live without building a full event
Any active team member can start the team’s tracker from GridStrike Mobile. The tracker is live immediately after confirmation and gives the host team a private tactical side, live player view, markers, drawings, and map coordination.
Team Tracker is deliberately isolated from the event system. It has no public route, event feed entry, web workspace, builder controls, or event invitation. Completed trackers remain durable for replay processing but stay hidden from a public or in-app history list.
- Start directly from the mobile team surface.
- Enter individually so each member controls their own live presence.
- Invite another team without exposing the tracker publicly.
- End the tracker for everyone from any active host-team member.
Invite teams, not loose player lists
An invited team accepts or declines as a team; the first committed response wins. Acceptance attaches the team to the tracker but does not automatically place every member on the map. Current and future active members enter separately when they are ready.
The host sees whether invited teams are awaiting or joined. Invited teams can enter, view, or leave for their whole team, while inviting, removing teams, and ending the tracker remain host-team controls. A team can use one live tracker while newer invitations stay queued.
Automatic lifecycle and immediate revocation
A tracker supports up to 50 unique recently active users across active map sessions, reconnect grace, and accepted background locations. Each account owns one global live-map session: opening a Tracker or event map elsewhere immediately moves that session. There is no separate accepted-team limit.
After the first live or background activity, the tracker completes 90 seconds after all activity stops and always ends by its 12-hour maximum. Leaving, removal, team archival, or host End clears the relevant associations, presence, snapshots, and live access immediately.
