About these Terms
These Terms govern your use of the GridStrike websites, mobile applications, live maps, teams, events, replays, and related services. GridStrike is the trading name used by the individual business of Achillefs Kastanas, established in Greece.
By creating an account or using GridStrike, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to accept these Terms.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for protecting your credentials and activity under your account.
- You must notify GridStrike promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
- You may not impersonate another person or create an account for someone without authority.
The service
GridStrike is an adult companion for organized airsoft, paintball, outdoor tactical sports, and similar lawful activities. It provides team and event tools, live tactical maps, private location sharing, markers, drawings, and time-limited replays.
GridStrike uses Closed Beta access on the web and open account access on mobile. Premium features require an eligible paid or gifted plan. Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. We will give reasonable notice of material changes when practicable.
Physical safety
GridStrike is not emergency equipment, a safety service, professional supervision, or a guarantee of position or map accuracy. It does not replace field rules, trained staff, emergency plans, local knowledge, lawful instructions, or safe judgment.
- Do not use GridStrike while driving or whenever device use creates a hazard.
- Do not rely on GridStrike to enter, leave, or navigate dangerous or restricted areas.
- Stop using the app whenever field staff, emergency services, or safety conditions require it.
- Call the appropriate emergency service directly in an emergency.
Organizer and venue responsibilities
Event and team organizers are responsible for field permission, local laws, participant eligibility, safety rules, emergency arrangements, insurance where applicable, and any consent required from participants. GridStrike does not approve or supervise events.
You may create or operate an event only where you have permission from the owner, occupier, or responsible authority. Events may not be scheduled on military installations, government facilities, private land, protected areas, critical infrastructure, or other controlled locations without all required permission.
Location and replays
When you join an active event or Team Tracker, your precise location is shared with permitted participants and organizers. Background tracking keeps that position current when the app is not visible and stops when you leave, are removed, the session ends, permission is rejected, or your account is deleted.
Active sessions may record location and tactical activity in a private replay. Replays expire after 30 days and remain available only to the replay audience captured when recording finalizes.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you provide. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide it.
You grant GridStrike a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt for technical delivery, display, transmit, moderate, and back up your content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. GridStrike will not use your content in marketing without separate permission.
This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for limited copies retained temporarily in backups, preserved where legally required, or included in a valid replay until that replay is deleted or expires. Public profiles, teams, events, and public images may be visible worldwide.
Prohibited use
You must follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, you may not use GridStrike for:
- real-world armed conflict, military, paramilitary, or law-enforcement operations;
- weapons trafficking, hostile surveillance, targeting, or facilitating harm;
- events at a location without the owner’s or responsible authority’s permission;
- harassment, threats, hate, exploitation, bullying, or sexual abuse;
- illegal activity, fraud, impersonation, spam, or malicious interference;
- doxxing, privacy violations, or sharing another person’s location without authority;
- intellectual-property infringement or content you have no right to use; or
- abuse of reports, blocks, invitations, authentication, or security systems.
Moderation and enforcement
Users can report public content and block other users. GridStrike may investigate reports and issue warnings, remove content, restrict interactions, suspend accounts, or permanently ban accounts.
We may act without advance warning where reasonably necessary to address credible threats, illegal content, exploitation, serious harassment, security abuse, imminent harm, legal obligations, or substantial risk to users or the service. You may appeal a moderation decision within 30 days by contacting support@gridstrike.net.
GridStrike may preserve and disclose relevant information when required by law or reasonably necessary to address an emergency, credible threat, fraud, or service security.
Intellectual property
GridStrike and its software, branding, designs, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, GridStrike gives you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or misuse the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Third-party services
GridStrike depends on third-party services such as app stores, authentication, maps, hosting, email, storage, content delivery, and diagnostics. Their own terms may also apply. GridStrike is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control, but this does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
GridStrike Social and YouTube
GridStrike Social lets authorized GridStrike operators upload operator-selected videos and metadata to connected brand accounts. Every YouTube upload must be explicitly selected and confirmed by the operator, including its title, description, and privacy setting.
By connecting or using a YouTube account through GridStrike Social, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You may revoke the connection through GridStrike Social or the Google security settings page. The Privacy Policy explains the YouTube API data accessed, its limited use, retention, and deletion.
Account termination and deletion
You may stop using GridStrike at any time. Account deletion is available in the mobile app and through the public deletion process. Owned teams and events must first be transferred or deleted.
A valid deletion request revokes access immediately and is normally completed within 30 days. Limited fraud, security, legal, backup, and anonymous aggregate records may be retained where permitted or required. GridStrike may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated violation of these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
Availability and warranties
GridStrike is provided as an evolving beta. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without promises that it will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or suitable for a particular event. Nothing in these Terms removes a warranty, remedy, or consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to remove.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, GridStrike is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost opportunities, lost profits, or losses caused by event organizers, participants, venue operators, user decisions, unsafe conduct, or third-party services outside GridStrike’s reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including mandatory consumer remedies or liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by an act or omission for which the law makes GridStrike responsible.
Governing law and disputes
Greek law governs these Terms. This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protection provided by the law of their country. Courts in Athens, Greece may hear disputes, but consumers may bring proceedings in another competent court where applicable law permits.
Please contact support@gridstrike.net first so that we can try to resolve a concern informally.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be announced by email or in the app before they take effect where practicable. A new acceptance may be required.
App marketplaces
If you download GridStrike from Apple or Google, the applicable marketplace terms also apply to your relationship with that marketplace. These Terms govern your relationship with GridStrike.
